Mildred Mary Holmes

Mildred Mary Holmes, age 86, died on April 26, 2004 at her home in Othello. Mildred was born on June 21, 1917 to Edward and Effie (Avery) Moore, in Forbes, ND.

She is survived by: a son, William Holmes of Huron, SD; three daughters, Linda Mehrer of Prosser, Wash., Sharon Elgert of Kennewick, Wash., and Carol Bridges of Moses Lake, Wash.; three brothers, Joseph Moore of Lewiston, Idaho, Richard Moore of Kooskia, Idaho, and Donald Moore of Pasco, Wash.; three sisters, Kate Darrington of Eltopia, Wash., Jane Roush of Florence, Ore., and Grace Weinert of Lewiston, Idaho; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, her parents, five brothers and one grandson.

Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, April 29, 2004 from 12-5 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Nazarene Church of Othello with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Stevens Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
