Jesus "Jesse" Soltero

Jesus "Jesse" Soltero, 36, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2004. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Felipe Pulido as celebrant. There will be a public viewing where family will greet friends at the church on Tuesday, April 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Cremation arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Jesse was born December 21, 1967 to Jesus A. and Dolores Soto Soltero in Mexico. At a young age he moved to New Mexico. He was raised and educated in New Mexico, graduating from high school in 1986. One year later he moved to the Columbia Basin where he met and married Terri Garcia on June 25, 1994.

Jesse has been employed at D&L Foundry for the past 11 years. He loved fishing and activities in the outdoors, including riding the sand dunes and spending time with his kids riding bikes.

Survivors include: his wife, Terri of Moses Lake; his father, Jesus A. Soltero; four children, Anavette, Mikael, Brittany and Armando; a sister, Lillia; and a stepbrother and sister, Juan and Suzanna.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores, and his stepbrother, Tony Valdez.
