Warren V. Parham

Warren V. Parham, 93, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Assembly of God Church in Moses Lake.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Warren was born October 2, 1910 in Catoosa, Okla., son of the late Robert Franklin and Bertha Jane (Dye) Parham. He was raised and educated in Catoosa. He married Gladys Remington on July 12, 1933 in Catoosa.

They moved to Moses Lake in 1955 and Warren went to work in maintenance at Larson Air Force Base. When the base closed, he went to work for the Othello Radar Base in maintenance. The radar base closed in the early 1970s and Warren then worked at Fairchild Air Force Base until retiring in 1980.

He returned to Moses Lake to live until 1995 when he moved to Rosalia, Wash.

Warren is survived by: his wife, Gladys Parham of Marysville, Wash.; nine children, Loren Parham of Tocca, Ga., Cleva Petrikis of Felton, Calif., Don Parham of Bellingham, Wash., Bob Parham, Larry Parham, Gary Parham and David Parham, all of Moses Lake, Dean Parham of Issaquah, Wash. and Becky Reiber of Pine City, Wash.; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Warren was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Solce.
