Dorothy Mae Woods

Dorothy Mae Woods was born September 10, 1956 in Eloy, Ariz. to Robert and Annie Mae (McLain) Woods. She passed away Saturday, April 3, 2004 in Moses Lake.

Dorothy will be missed by: her companion, Mike Isom; her children, April Douglas, Wayne Shelton and Dennis Fleck; five grandchildren, Savannah, Bryce and Matthew Douglas, and Austin and Kaylee Fleck; her sister, Katherine Hunsaker; brothers, Gerald, Eugene and Billy Woods; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was always happiest in the outdoors and with kids. She enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. She was tough and strong, but would give freely of her time and things to help others. She was a hard worker and her hands were always busy. Everyone who met her liked her.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2004 at Benson's Pioneer Memorial Gardens cemetery, 14403 Rd 2 NE in Moses Lake. Family and friends may visit Thursday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. at Benson's Chapel located at the cemetery.
