Robert Eli Strugar, 77, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006. He was born in Cle Elum on Oct. 22, 1929. Bob died peacefully surrounded by family at Overlake Hospital. He is survived by his four children Marcia Hardy, Bob Strugar, Nancy Hamilton, and Jody Greenberg, nine grandchildren Jason, Jessica, Gina, Teresa, Dominic, Angie, Justin, Nicole, and Luke; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother John Strugar and one sister Norma Courtmanch. Bob was a very successful businessman with Market Basket grocery stores and Totem Beverage, and as a breeder of Thoroughbred horses in Moses Lake. Most importantly, Bob will be remembered for his generosity and kindness by all who knew him.

Billy J. McAnulty, born January 18, 1933 at Perry, Okla., to William F. and Merle Sarah (Ingraham) McAnulty, passed away Dec. 19, 2006. Billy lived most of his life in Englewood, Colo., area where he owned and operated an auto wrecking and salvage business. Billy and his wife of 56 years have lived in Soap Lake since he retired 16 years ago. Billy is survived by his wife, Patricia Y. (Plymale) McAnulty, his son Billy J. (Rose) McAnulty Jr., his daughters Teresa (Steve) Fries and Patricia (Robert) Brown, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildern and three great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Benson's Funeral Chapel, 104 W Fifth Ave., Moses Lake at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006.

Donald M. High passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2006. He was born to Benjamin High and Clementine Pyatt High on March 17, 1916, in Green City, Mo. Don was married to Lorraine M. Durnen on Oct. 10, 1938. She passed away in October 2003 after 65 years of marriage. Don served in the Marines in the Aleutian Islands during World War II. They had lived in Moses Lake since 1953 and had many friends in the area. Don worked for the Teamsters Union for 27 years and retired in 1973. He then worked out of his home for 19 years as a Washington state licensed hypnotherapist. He was a member of the VFW, the Masons, and the Elks. For many years, he met with a group of "coffee friends" every morning.

Eugene (Gene) Henry Oord, 74, died peacefully in his sleep Thursday, Dec. 14, at his home in Othello. Oord was born Dec. 27, 1931, in a farmhouse in Zillah. Oord is a graduate of Zillah High School (1950). He won scholarships to play basketball and baseball at Yakima Valley Junior College and Whitworth College, earning his B.A. in education in 1955. Oord also eventually earned his M.A. in education and certificate in administration from Washington State University and his certificate of counseling from Eastern Washington University.

Preceding Deborah in death are her parents and infant son, Austin.
