Residents of the Moses Lake School District attended the May 9 school board meeting in higher than average numbers. Attendees expressed concerns about an administrator that had been put on administrative leave as well as concerns about the district's budget and programming after a levy failure.

MOSES LAKE – The Moses Lake School District Board of Directors voted in a special meeting Saturday to move forward with a resolution to authorize needed budget cuts after the district’s maintenance and operations levy failed on the ballot for the second time this year. More than 100 staff, including teachers and staff, are expected to lose their jobs after the levy failure.
