The Washington State Capitol Building is lit up Thursday evening. The Washington Newspaper Publisher’s Association and partners hosted a day at the capitol for members of the media to be briefed by legislators and state officials on the impacts of various pieces of legislation and projects at the state level. Among the topics discussed were election security, the Climate Commitment Act and statewide goals for education.
