The Grant County Sheriff’s office announced Thursday that Narcotics K-9 Deputy Maddox has passed away at the age of 17. Maddox served from 2009 to his retirement in 2016. He was a very good boy, the GCSO added. The Columbia Basin Herald appreciates Maddox’s service to the community and we send our sympathies to his handlers and family.
