Robert Ruby in later life. Ruby, a pioneering Moses Lake physician, saved almost everything and gave a lot of it to the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center, including the scrapbook from his trip to the first-ever National Jamboree of the Boy Scouts of America in 1937.

Moses Lake doctor’s scrapbook details early Scouting trip
Robert Ruby was a pioneering surgeon in Moses Lake and an enthusiastic collector of autographs. He studied Native American culture and wrote a number of books about his research, including a biography of Chief Moses.
