Jason A. Gruver, 30, passed away at his home unexpectedly Sunday, March 3, 2019. He resided in Soap Lake, Washington. He was born in Richland, Washington and raised in Moses Lake, Washington.

He leaves behind a 5-year-old son Peyton, his mother Arlene Gruver, father Nathen Gruver and stepmother Kim Gruver, two sisters Jolene Gruver and Jennifer Gruver, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

He attended CBSS and later obtained his GED in Colorado. Jason enjoyed motorcycles, Hacky sack and many trips with family and friends. Jason loved the outdoors and any adventure life threw his way. He spent time in Washington and Colorado. He referred to himself as God’s Servant, “doing whatever my Lord calls me to do,” and would say “I’m just me, take it or leave it! :)” He always had a huge smile when you would see him and he cared for everyone, and put so much thought into everything he did. He was a big kid at heart and enjoyed finding little treasures over the years; he had a range of different collections.

Celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2019.

Jason will be missed but never forgotten. He captured a special place in many people’s lives. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our time together was far too short. May you be at peace in God’s arms.
