Mike was well liked in the community and would help anyone who needed assistance. He and his friends enjoyed going to the “Den” to watch old reruns of “Bonanza” and “Gunsmoke.”

After his heart attack in 2012, Mike was baptized and then attended Bible study three times a week. His friends at the “Den” called him “Preacher Mike” when he shared his Christian beliefs.
