SUNNYSIDE — Moses Lake rolled Sunnyside in a doubleheader sweep 17-0 and 22-2.

Gina Skinner allowed one hit in the opener.

“We played relatively clean defense,” head coach Mike Hofheins said. “We were pretty disciplined at the plate, which was nice to see.”

The Chiefs (7-1, 13-3) left no doubt in Game 2, scoring 10 runs in the first inning. Hadleigh Cranston hit a two-run single and finished the game 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Skinner, Sydney Ries, Savannah Ashley, Madison Olson, Michelle Turner and Ciarrah Knoll also drove in multiple runs. Reigning league MVP Skinner doubled and tripled.

Ashley gave up one run on two hits in the nightcap.

Moses Lake finishes its regular season next week with home doubleheaders against Eisenhower and West Valley.
