MOSES LAKE — Warden overcame nine errors to beat Colton 15-10.
The Cougars countered their sloppy defensive play with a lineup that totaled 20 hits and a seven-run third inning.
Ryan Arredondo went 5-for-6 with a staggering four doubles and two RBIs. More, Arredondo started the game and struck out seven batters in two innings. Big Bend had baseball coach Jameson Lange clocked Arredondo’s fastball at 86 miles per hour.
Tommy Pruneda highlighted Warden’s big third inning with a two-run single. Rodrigo Ozuna and Chance Conahan also hit RBI singles and Arredondo doubled home Conahan.
Colton was able to draw within one run after scoring seven in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Selah 12, Quincy 2
SELAH — Quincy had one disastrous inning and lost to Selah 12-2.
The Jacks allowed 11 runs in the third inning after briefly leading 1-0.
The Vikings’ Dylan Bishop tripled and drove in four runs; Carter Young added a home run and three RBIs.
