Who is going to stop Royal?

The 5-0 Knights thumped Warden 56-0 this past Friday and were rewarded with the No. 1 spot in this week’s Associated Press Washington High School Football Poll in Class 1A.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline also held its spot as the top team in Class 1B after a blowout win over Bridgeport 76-6.

Both squads will receive their best tests this week as ACH hosts second-ranked Odessa Thursday at 7 p.m. and Royal welcomes No. 5 Connell to David Nielsen Memorial Field on Friday.
