MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake police were dispatched for a call out of a Mission Impossible movie, with two suspected burglars trying to enter a business from the roof equipped with masks, bolt cutters and head lamps.

The suspects: two Soap Lake 18-year-olds. Their high dollar target: Staples.

Joseph Babak and Veniamin Nikolayev Teslyuk, both 18 of Soap Lake, was booked after midnight Saturday on charges of second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.

Police responded to a call from a witness claiming to see two shadowy individuals climbing up the side of Staples around 9:30 Friday, and law enforcement gained access by ascending a neighboring building.

When officers got on top of the Staples roof, they located a bag containing a number of burglary tools. The suspects were found hiding behind an air conditioning unit and booked into custody, according to Cpt. Dave Sands of the Moses Lake Police Department.
