Moses Lake woman arrested for throwing rocks at cars on I-90

MOSES LAKE — A 50-year-old Moses Lake woman was arrested Tuesday after throwing rocks off an Interstate 90 overpass at cars on the highway, shattering at least one windshield, according to officials with the state patrol.

Christine Bechyne was allegedly throwing rocks out of a bag at multiple vehicles from the West Peninsula Drive overpass above I-90 near milepost 176 around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to police logs.

Bechyne was located near the intersection of South Wanapum Drive and West Lakeshore Drive by the Moses Lake Police Department and arrested on second-degree assault charges.
