MOSES LAKE — The Grant County Sheriff’s office said late Friday it has arrested a Moses Lake mom who showed up to several undercover drug deals with her children.
In a news release, the GCSO said INET deputies and detectives arrested 26-year-old Lilian Cushman after serving a warrant on her home and vehicle on Carswell Drive in the Larson community Thursday morning.
“Detectives seized several ounces of meth and a large amount of cash,” the GCSO said.
According to the sheriff’s office, Cushman had been under investigation for some time, and members of the INET team made several previous undercover drug buys from her.
“During those drug buys, her children, ages one and eight, accompanied her,” the GCSO said.
The sheriff’s office said that Cushman has been booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of “multiple counts of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance in a school zone, and involving a person under the age of eighteen in a controlled substance transaction.”
Cushman’s two children “were taken into the care of Child Protective Services,” the sheriff’s office statement concluded.
