GOAL STATEMENT:The Moses Lake School District has set two strategic goals this year, with one focusing on improving core math instruction at all grade levels. By working on closing achievement gap in K-12 mathematics, we plan to significantly improve our core math instruction by this coming June.
Thirteen moses lake school district schools are measured by student growth percentiles changes over the past 4 years in median.
Six schools had a significantly positive median change ranging from 8.5 to 22 percentile points. 2 schools had a minimally positive median change ranging from an increase of 1 to 3 percentile points. 5 schools had a significantly negative median change ranging from a decrease of 10.5 to 21 percentile point.
Our elementary students recently took a mid-year test to help us measure progress toward this goal and we are excited to let you know that our students are making fantastic growth…
Our teachers continue to work intentionally empowering our students to take ownership of their learning, and by making strategic changes with classroom instruction. We have seen and continue to see promising student growth!
