DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) _ Construction Partners Inc. (ROAD) on Monday reported fiscal first-quarter earnings of $5.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Dothan, Alabama-based company said it had net income of 10 cents.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 15 cents per share.

The road and highway construction company posted revenue of $154.3 million in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $170.2 million.

Construction Partners expects full-year revenue in the range of $760 million to $810 million.

Construction Partners shares have risen 30 percent since the beginning of the year.
