PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) _ Perceptron Inc. (PRCP) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $1.5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Plymouth, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 16 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment gains, came to 11 cents per share.

The industrial measurement and inspection company posted revenue of $21.6 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in April, Perceptron said it expects revenue in the range of $17 million to $20 million.

Perceptron shares have decreased 6.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $7.62, a decline of 17 percent in the last 12 months.
