No changes for local teams Royal, ACH in final prep poll

Local teams Royal and Almira/Coulee-Hartline held steady in the final Associated Press Washington High School Football Prep Poll.

The Knights, who are on a state record 50-game win streak, stayed at No. 1 in Class 1A. Royal has been the unanimous top-ranked team in 1A for the entire season.

Royal hosts Naches Valley in a district crossover game Friday at 7 p.m.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline remained at No. 2 in Class 1B, only trailing rival Odessa. ACH travels to Selkirk Friday for its first playoff game.
