Reader supports McCain, Palin

Now I wasn’t a big Sen. John McCain supporter in the beginning, until he picked Sarah Palin. I know that McCain would be a better President than Obama. Most of all because of what they stand for, and what they might do to our nation if elected.

With Obama he wants big government. In other words he’s a communist. Don’t believe me, lookup “The Communist Manifesto!” Most Democrats I’d have to say are communist. They believe in raising taxes, to spend on more government programs, to supposedly benefit the nation. All that does is put less money in your pocket, so the government can tell you how to live your life.

Education costs have risen so much over the last 10 years. Ever wonder why? All part of keeping people unlearned and ignorant. So they can’t make better choices and continue to elect the same people over and over again.

Health care is even getting so expensive, but nationalized healthcare is not the answer. Do we really need the government telling us when we can and can’t go to the doctor? Or even who we can go to? All that would happen is healthcare would get worse and more people would be sick.

Really take a good look at how things are in communistic nations. No free economy, central bank controlled by the government. High taxes, and loss of private property. Education controlled by the government and no child labor laws. I really don’t want America to become a nation like that. In ways it already is. Communism is just like everything else. It’s subtle and is creeping in slowly. I’m just one person, but I know there are others out there that think like me. Together we can make a difference!

" Carl, I'll tell you where Obama got all the money. He got it from me. Also my neighbor, my brothers, my parents, and millions of other people who are fed up with what's going on in Washington right now.

The Michelle Obama lobster story? It was made up. The newspaper that reported it later retracted it, as Michelle Obama was giving a speech at the time it supposedly took place. Look it up. It's just another Republican lie attempting to smear Obama's good name.

I'm surprised you didn't bring up Ashley Todd! "

" Again with the name calling. For Pete's sake, can we get away from this kind of nonsense? Democrats are closer to Communism than Republicans. Republicans are closer to Fascism than Democrats. That doesn't mean that Democrats are Communists and Republicans are Fascists. I'm saddened by how much some folks have bought into McCain's nasty smears instead of looking at the issues. The whole accusation of Communism was based on a quote taken out of context, and we need to remember that the only reason Obama said what he did was that he was being baited by Joe the Pundit, who set out to entrap him. The "spread it around" quote in context, like the quote about redistribution, has nothing to do with communism and it's really disgusting that McCain and his handlers have chosen to misrepresent these quotes for a few votes. "

" Its true Obama might not have the military experience that McCain does, but just because someone does not have experience in something does not mean they can do a good job. Come one people, just think about yourselfs when you guys/gals started a new job, did you go in with tons of experience? NOOOOOO! Even if you had some, you still needed to learn. DO NOT get blinded by McCain's cheap shots, negative advertising, etc. McCain's poor campaign strategy was clear in the third debate. Do you really want a president with these type of skills?

Now McCain claims to be conservative and a christian....hmmm. Typically, real christian care for the neighbor and distribute the wealth (which was what Jesus teaches in the bible). If you pay close attention to the debates, McCain is NOT going to do that. YOu will become poorer and the rich will become richer. Please people don't be blinded by Bush's campaign, I am sorry McCain's campaign - he is a puppet just like Bush...

Just take a step back actually THINK, THINK, THINK.....Obama has raised the most money for this campaign in years...Do you think he has done this because he is charismatic black man....NO! He has raised all this money because he know who to sorround himself with, hint, hint...Meaning that he will select the right people for his cabinet, which, I think its what really matters.

No in terms of vice-presidents, Sarah Palin DOES NOT have enough experience to be VP, bottom line. She claims to be an average Hockey mom, BS, so then why did she allow for the GOP to spen $150k on clothes for her family....what a fake....go back to Alaska and hug a moose. Joe Biden might of messed up, but according to Republicans he does have experience, hence, will do a good job. However, I don't think he has messed up as bad as Bush....please people THINK, THINK, THINK

This country does not need another 4 years of GW Bush. Come one people this whole nation security BS is just a way to scare people and manipulate the voter. They say terrorist will come in through the US-Mexico border, I say that is a bunch of BS. Lets be realistic here, whenever harvest comes around, the ranchers complain that there is not enough MExicans to harvest crops, which ends up all the way up to politicians, and they tell the US Border Patrol to lay back for a couple of days. If you don't believe me, take a trip down to any of the border city on the US towns, the locals will tell you. If you are still are caught up with Obama being a Muslim, he is not, he is Christian. Also, if he is communist, he is not. Just think of how America was for to be the America we knew 8 years ago you will know that Obama is not too far off. I will not the research for you, you need to do it...

Finally, last thought on a candidate's lack of experience. If you examine another country's history, for example Mexico. You will find out that this same case happened to Mexico in the 19 century with Benito Juarez. Juarez was an indegeous person, but educated in the best universities of Mexico. He had no real experience for the job, but he did know how to select the right people (even people outside of his party) to do the job. As a result of Juarez's administration, Mexico became strong in all areas such as economy, commerce, and education, just to name a few. "

" I urge anyone out there thinking about voting for Obama just because he is black and charismatic, to rethink. We had a great black candidate last election. His name was Mr. Keyes. I wish he was running this time against Obama. Then people would be thinking beyond the color of skin to determine who is going to protect our freedom and our country.
If any of you owns property, or is a real estate agent and has suffered from the slowdown, check this out...Real estate is already heading down in value due to less people qualified to get loans and the lack of freed up capital. We all know this. When Obama allows the 15% capital gains tax rule expire, we will experience another great transfer of wealth from us to them, when we need to sell any property. This will bring real estate values further down as it will no longer be a good investment if we have to give all our profits away to the candidate who wants to "spread the wealth around". Any value in property owned saved for retirement will go to the grave along with our 401 ks. Please think before voting. There is alot more at stake here than what color your skin is. It's what Obama plans on doing to all of our rights once he's in. Maybe McCain is not much better, but if Obama gets in, not only will we have lost all of our 401 k, we will then lose our property investments and more of our private property rights. Don't kid yourself. Government handouts are never free. They come with a very high price that cannot be measured in dollars and cents. "

" Krista you sound like that ingnorant women that stood up in a McCain rally and said "I don't trust Obama because he's an Arab!"

Wake up fools! We have been living in the closest time the American government has ever been to mirroring a communist goverment. One party ruled all 3 houses of the government for 6 years. We have the largest government in the history of our country. Gov. just bought into our national banking system. Our Comrade in Chief and his sidekick have been deciding which civil liberties are worth waiving for the interest of so called national security. This certainly has not been the workings of the Democrats.

Call Obama everything you want: communist, terrorist, muslim, baby-killer. These cheap words won't change the truth. You folks are just scared of an educated man of color that has more vision and intellect than Bush/Cheney/McCain/Palin combined. But, after all is said and done, the one thing you will be calling him is Mr. President. "

Says it all. We have been hijacked by the two sides of the same coin and people defend it! What a shame this country has become. Instead of wanting to be free from government we invite interference through the left right paridigm. There is only one rule of law and that is the Constitution, that is rock solid (it is not a living document).
Vote 4 Freedom you are absolutly right. The Republicans will lose the president election for two reasons, 1. They are no longer conservative and 2. they deserve it. That is the only reason a mojority of sheep could be so desperate to vote for the likes of Obama. "

" Another lost Republican, actually believing there is a difference between Obama and McCain.
Yes Obama wants communism but McCain is no better.
Your last paragragh hit the nail on the head but niether candidate believes in the Constitution. Free Economy, HAHA McCain voted for the bailout, the government owns shares in almost every bank out there. Facism is what we have now, government and big corporations have now merged. Wake up people, quit voting for the lesser of two evils and vote for Contitutional limited government. McCain voted against the bush tax cuts twice in the senate, now he wants them permanate, go figure. I have never heard McCain talk about abolishing the department of education and if he does he might get my vote.
OH and all you out there voting for McCain because he is a conservative (he is not), his campaigne manager is Rick Davis, he is a lobbist for Fannie Mea and Freddie Mac. Go ahead and keep doing your research on the couch in front of your T.V. and prepare to be dissapointed election after election.
The only consevative we had running wanted to.
Abolish the Dept. of Education.
Abolish the Dept.of Energy.
Abolish the Federal Reserve.
Abolish the IRS.
You missed your chance to save the country. "
